  • 2 cans of cinnamon rolls
  • 3 apples, peeled and diced
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/4 cup chopped walnuts (optional)
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 23 tbsp milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. Open the cans of cinnamon rolls and set aside the icing. Cut each cinnamon roll into quarters.
  3. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the diced apples, brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Cook until the apples are tender, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Spread the cinnamon roll pieces evenly in the greased baking dish. Pour the apple mixture over the top.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the cinnamon rolls are cooked through and golden brown.
  6. While the bake is baking, whisk together the powdered sugar and milk to make the glaze.
  7. Once the bake is done, drizzle the glaze over the top. Sprinkle with chopped walnuts if desired.
