  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F and grease a 9-inch round cake pan.
  2. Melt 1/2 cup of butter in a small saucepan over medium heat. Add the brown sugar and stir until smooth.
  3. Pour the butter and sugar mixture into the bottom of the cake pan, spreading it evenly.
  4. Arrange the sliced peaches on top of the sugar mixture in a decorative pattern. Drizzle the bourbon over the peaches.
  5. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  6. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
