  • 1 lb beef, thinly sliced
  • 1 head of broccoli, cut into florets
  • 3 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, mix together soy sauce, oyster sauce, cornstarch, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Set aside.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a large pan over medium-high heat.
  3. Add garlic and ginger to the pan and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Add the beef slices to the pan and cook until browned on all sides, about 3-4 minutes.
  5. Add the broccoli florets to the pan and stir-fry for another 3-4 minutes until they are tender-crisp.
  6. Pour the sauce mixture over the beef and broccoli, stirring well to coat everything evenly.
  7. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the sauce has thickened and the beef is cooked through.
  8. Remove from heat and serve hot over steamed rice.
