  • 1 package of lasagna noodles
  • 1 cup of marinara sauce
  • 1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup of breadcrumbs
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon of Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • Oil for frying
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the lasagna noodles according to the package instructions. Drain and let them cool.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded mozzarella cheese, grated Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Lay out a lasagna noodle and spread a thin layer of marinara sauce on top.
  4. Sprinkle a generous amount of the cheese mixture on the sauce.
  5. Roll up the noodle tightly to form a stick. Repeat with the remaining noodles.
  6. In a shallow bowl, beat the eggs. In another shallow bowl, place the breadcrumbs.
  7. Dip each lasagna stick into the beaten eggs, then coat with breadcrumbs.
  8. Heat oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350°F.
  9. Fry the lasagna sticks in batches for 2-3 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
  10. Remove from the oil and drain on a paper towel-lined plate.
