3–4 ripe bananas, mashed
1/3 cup melted butter (or healthy oil alternative)
3/4 cup sugar (adjust to taste)
1 large egg
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp baking soda
Pinch of salt
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup chopped walnuts or chocolate chips (optional)
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth.
Add melted butter, sugar, egg, and vanilla; mix until well combined.
Stir in baking soda and salt, then gradually fold in the flour until just combined.
