  • 1 pound pasta (such as rotini or penne)
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1/2 cup black olives, sliced
  • 1/2 cup red onion, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup cucumber, diced
  • 1/2 cup bell pepper, diced
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup Italian dressing
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and rinse with cold water.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked pasta, cherry tomatoes, black olives, red onion, cucumber, bell pepper, and fresh basil.
  3. Add the grated parmesan cheese and Italian dressing to the bowl and toss everything together until well combined.
  4. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Cover the bowl and refrigerate the pasta salad for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together.
  6. Before serving, give the salad a good stir and adjust the seasoning if necessary.
