The Reese’s Peanut Butter Earthquake Cake is a delicious and decadent dessert that combines rich chocolate cake with creamy peanut butter and chunks of Reese’s peanut butter cups. This cake is sure to satisfy any sweet tooth and is perfect for special occasions or just as a treat for yourself!

Ingredients

  • 1 box of chocolate cake mix
  • 1 cup of creamy peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup of unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup of milk
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 1 cup of Reese’s peanut butter cups, chopped
  • 1/2 cup of powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup of chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the chocolate cake mix, melted butter, milk, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  3. Pour the cake batter into the prepared baking dish and set aside.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix together the peanut butter, powdered sugar, and chopped Reese’s peanut butter cups.
  5. Spoon dollops of the peanut butter mixture on top of the cake batter in the baking dish.
  6. Using a knife, gently swirl the peanut butter mixture into the cake batter to create a marble effect.
  7. Sprinkle chocolate chips on top of the cake batter.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
