Ingredients

  • 8 oz flank steak, sliced thinly
  • 8 oz shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 yellow bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 small onion, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp ginger, grated
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, mix together soy sauce, oyster sauce, and cornstarch. Set aside.
  2. Heat 1 tbsp of vegetable oil in a large skillet over high heat.
  3. Add the sliced steak and stir fry for 2-3 minutes until browned. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  4. Heat the remaining vegetable oil in the skillet and add the shrimp. Cook for 2 minutes until pink. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  5. Add the garlic and ginger to the skillet and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
  6. Add the sliced bell peppers and onion to the skillet. Stir fry for 3-4 minutes until slightly softened.
  7. Return the steak and shrimp to the skillet. Pour in the sauce mixture and toss everything together.
  8. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until the sauce has thickened and everything is heated through.
  9. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  10. Serve hot over steamed rice or noodles. Enjoy!
