Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken breasts with paprika, cayenne pepper, cumin, salt, and black pepper.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the seasoned chicken breasts and cook until browned on both sides, about 5-6 minutes per side. Remove chicken from skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add diced onion and minced garlic. Cook until onion is translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
  4. Pour in chicken broth and bring to a simmer. Add heavy cream and butter, stirring until butter is melted and sauce is smooth.
  5. Return chicken to the skillet and simmer in the sauce for another 10-15 minutes, until chicken is cooked through.
  6. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
