Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat.
Add the chopped onion and cook until softened.
Layer the sliced potatoes in the bottom of a greased casserole dish.
Spread the browned beef and onion mixture over the potatoes.
Top with mixed vegetables.
Mix together beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
Pour the broth mixture evenly over the casserole.
Cover the casserole dish with foil and bake for 45 minutes.
Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes.
Let the casserole cool for a few minutes before serving.
