Make Creamy Crock Pot Ranch Chicken with clear steps, pantry staples, and flexible swaps.

Ingredients

  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix 1 oz
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup 10.5 oz
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • 4 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley chopped (for garnish)

Method

  1. Place the chicken breasts at the bottom of the crock pot.
  2. In a medium bowl, mix together the ranch seasoning mix, cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, sour cream, cream cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper until well combined.
  3. Pour the creamy mixture over the chicken in the crock pot, ensuring the chicken is evenly coated.
  4. Cover the crock pot with a lid and cook on low for 6-7 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until the chicken is cooked through and tender.
  5. Once the chicken is cooked, shred it in the pot using two forks, stirring it into the sauce until well combined.
  6. If you prefer a thicker sauce, mix 1 tablespoon of cornstarch with 2 tablespoons of water and stir it into the sauce during the last 30 minutes of cooking.
  7. Serve the creamy ranch chicken over rice, pasta, or with your favorite side dish, garnished with fresh parsley.
