Method
- Prepare the beef by slicing it thinly against the grain.
- In a mixing bowl, combine soy sauce, beef broth, garlic, ginger, and brown sugar.
- Add the sliced beef to the crockpot and pour the sauce over it.
- Cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
- 30 minutes before serving, add the broccoli florets on top of the beef.
- Mix cornstarch with a little water to form a slurry, then stir it into the sauce in the crockpot.
- Taste and adjust seasonings if necessary, then serve warm over rice or noodles.
