Ingredients
  

  • 4 chicken thighs bone-in, skin-on
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon whole grain mustard
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme or 1 teaspoon dried
  • 1 cup chicken broth

Method
 

  1. Season the chicken thighs with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Sear the chicken for about 5-7 minutes on each side.
  4. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set it aside.
  5. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes.
  6. Add the Dijon and whole grain mustard, stirring to combine.
  7. Pour in the heavy cream and chicken broth, stirring until smooth.
  8. Return the chicken to the skillet and add thyme.
  9. Simmer for 15-20 minutes until the chicken is cooked through.
  10. Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary.
  11. Serve warm, garnished with fresh herbs if desired.
