Ingredients
  

  • 14-16 lb whole turkey
  • 1/4 cup kosher salt
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 2 teaspoons black pepper
  • 1-2 cups wood chips hickory or apple
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • Optional: Herbs rosemary, thyme for garnish

Method
 

  1. Brine the turkey overnight
  2. Prepare the smoker
