Method
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface.
- Cut the puff pastry into squares.
- Sauté the mushrooms with garlic and thyme over medium heat.
- Add salt, pepper, and cheese to the sautéed mixture.
- Place the mushroom mixture onto the center of each pastry square.
- Fold and seal the edges of the pastry.
- Brush each tart with the beaten egg.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let the tarts cool slightly before serving.
