  • 1 sheet puff pastry
  • 8 oz mixed mushrooms
  • 1/2 cup grated cheese
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme chopped
  • 1 egg beaten
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface.
  3. Cut the puff pastry into squares.
  4. Sauté the mushrooms with garlic and thyme over medium heat.
  5. Add salt, pepper, and cheese to the sautéed mixture.
  6. Place the mushroom mixture onto the center of each pastry square.
  7. Fold and seal the edges of the pastry.
  8. Brush each tart with the beaten egg.
