Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • 1 small onion finely grated
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley chopped
  • 2 tsp ground cumin
  • 2 tsp ground coriander
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 cup plain yogurt
  • 2 cloves garlic minced (for sauce)
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste for sauce

Method
 

  1. Preheat your grill or stovetop grill pan.
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground chicken, grated onion, minced garlic, parsley, cumin, coriander, salt, pepper, and breadcrumbs.
  3. Form the mixture into 1-inch meatballs or oval shapes.
  4. Skewer the kofta onto soaked wooden skewers or metal skewers.
  5. Grill the kofta for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally until cooked through.
  6. While the kofta cooks, prepare the garlic yogurt sauce.
  7. In a mixing bowl, combine yogurt, minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
  8. Serve the kofta hot with the garlic yogurt sauce on the side.
