Savory Parmesan Chicken Meatloaf for Family Meals

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 small onion finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 cup ketchup for topping

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, sauté the onions and garlic until soft, about 5 minutes.
  3. In a large bowl, combine ground chicken, sautéed onions and garlic, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, milk, parsley, egg, salt, and pepper.
  4. Transfer the mixture into a loaf pan, pressing gently to shape it.
  5. Spread ketchup evenly over the top of the meatloaf.
  6. Bake for 45-55 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  7. Let the meatloaf rest for 10-15 minutes before slicing.
