Ingredients
  

  • 4 boneless chicken thighs
  • 1 lemon zested and juiced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Romano cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 garlic cloves minced
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley chopped (optional)

Method
 

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Season the chicken thighs with salt and black pepper, then place them in the skillet.
  3. Cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until the chicken is golden brown and cooked through.
  4. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside, keeping it warm.
  5. Add minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for about 30 seconds.
  6. Pour in the heavy cream and stir, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the skillet.
  7. Add lemon juice, lemon zest, and Romano cheese to the cream mixture, stirring until the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth.
  8. Return the chicken to the skillet, spooning sauce over the top, and simmer for 2-3 minutes to reheat.
  9. Garnish with chopped parsley, if desired, and serve.
